A question I found on the forums by someone from Wales, UK.
“Do you know/have your heard anything about the Royal Wedding in Britain? I asked a few people while we were ceding yesterday and I was suprised to find that there has been a lot of international interest and specials on tv etc. I’m just curious to see exactly how far all this hype has gone.”
Think, what does other non-UK countries have to do with it?
Here in the Philippines, every station in our country has an “exclusive coverage” about the wedding, but have you asked yourselves, what does it have to do with us? It’s not being cynical and all, but I find the hype in a country such as ours really ridiculous. You get the point.
There are other things out there worth the attention, but no, we choose to mingle with things that doesn’t concern us that much, with such importance. Our attention span about important matters in our own country simply diminishes by the minute.
The congress is even having a debate about prohibiting unlimited rice from restaurants and such.
Now, what can you say about that? Think about it.
